Cables meeting the Cca fire class are now recommended by more and more associations as a minimum requirement for various designs. As part of the continuous expansion of our portfolio of fire-resistant cables conforming to the EU Construction Products Regulation 305/2011, we have had another FiberConnect cable type qualified for permanent installation in buildings. As a result, we can now offer you a metal-sheathed universal cable with the corresponding approval.

Legal requirements respective cabling in data communications and networks, and structured cabling for office and data center environments in particular, are frequently amended to become ever-more demanding. In turn, the relevant industry associations regularly update their recommendations for the fire-resistant cables to be installed in various parts of the building. In addition to standard cables corresponding to the new fire classes Dca and Eca, we can also supply cables meeting the Cca fire class. To ensure you can maintain the recommended minimum requirements for safety-relevant areas in your projects, we have made improvements to the following popular FiberConnect cable type and been able to qualify this for the higher fire class Cca:
