Convince yourself of LEONI’s products in the field of optical metrology and sensor technology. You will find an interesting overview of LEONI’s fiber bundles, probes, intrinsic and extrinsic sensor cables, fiber arrays, optical switches and splitters.
FiberSwitch® explore the updated brochure of LEONI’s fiber optical switches for highest performance applications from the VIS to the IR. Discover our new polarization-maintaining product FiberSwitch® singlemode VIS-PM. With switching times starting from 2ms and together with the excellent life time of more than 100 Mio cycles the FiberSwitch® series provides an outstanding long-term performance according to the Telcordia GR-1073.
LEONI, the leading provider of cables, optical fibers, cable systems for automotive and other industries cooperates with the Ireland-based Firecomms Ltd. in the area of LED transceivers as an alternative to existing market-dominant systems.
Because of the increasingly stringent requirements for fibers in high performance applications, the Business Unit Fiber Optics of the LEONI Group and the German BAM Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing are jointly tackling the challenge of investigating the damage thresholds of selected large core special fibers for the first time.

LEONI Fiber Optics develops and produces planar lightwave circuits (PLC) by employing a specific optical chip technology. LEONI Fiber Optics standard splitters are mainly used in passive optical distribution networks in the subscriber loop of the telecommunication networks (FTTH). Other applications of LEONI Fiber Optics splitters are measuring systems and laser systems, special PLCs with optical functions such as couplers, interferometers or pitch converter systems for measurement, sensor technology systems or optical signal processing.
